SOUTHEAST ASIA: LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA

IMG_0684.JPG

Our journey started with a speed boat arriving at the Kuah Jetty after a three hour tour. We landed and immediately found a hot spot so we could order an Uber. Transportation on Langkawi is very inexpensive. For a thirty minute drive we payed 27 RM (Less than $9 CDN). We spent the next three days exploring the 478.5 km² island. Here are some of our exploits. We hope you enjoy them.

GETTING AROUND- MOHD TOURS

US AND OUR GUIDE MOHD

US AND OUR GUIDE MOHD

We hired Mohd to show us the island and also requested he make some suggestions, including our first stop, breakfast.

He was a great guide. He took us to The Mangroves. He dropped us off and picked us back up after a three hour boat tour, which included a bat cave, fish farm, a private beach, crocodile cave and an eagle feeding.

Mohd also took us to a few more spots, some of which he recommended, which included; the black sand beach, Langkawi Wildlife Park, and to end the day off he took us to a beachside parasailing company. His rates were amazing and we highly recommend him to anyone that is visiting Langkawi. Also, the Parasailing company we went to offers the longest trip on the island. Thanks Mohd, we couldn't have done all of it without you. If you are going to Langkawi and need a guide please contact us and we will connect you.

Below is a video of the parasailing.
