After returning to Singapore to reunite with our travel buddies, we all flew to Ngurah Rai airport, Bali. Once we arrived the shuttle service from Mondo Surf and Lifestyle Village transported us to the resort. Upon arrival we got the run down on how the resort worked. We immediately signed up for surfing lessons for the following day and were advised that Yoga started at 7:15am.

UNIQUE EXPERIENCES- DEUS EX MACHINA

At our resort they advertised a Tattoo and Taco night at a local restaurant. We couldn't turn down this unique opportunity. After a few rounds of cocktails, tacos and nachos it was finally Melissa's turn to get tattooed. She got a dainty anchor on her ankle and we called it an evening.

JALA'S TOUR AND PRIVATE DRIVER- A DAY TRIP WITH JALA

Our day with Jala ended at the rice fields. We were able to capture this amazing drone shot and enjoyed a lovely meal at her friend's restaurant overlooking the rice terraces. Thank you Jala, we really enjoyed our day with you!

On our day trip to Ubud we were fortunate enough to have a coffee meet up with two fellow Canadians. Melissa has been following @randycraig on Instagram since one of her regulars at work mentioned that their friend was doing a similar trip. We enjoyed some Javanese coffee, spoke of photography, accommodations and of course boat season beginning soon back home in Ontario. Thanks again Randy and Rita for the coffee, next time maybe it will be on the water.
