SOUTHEAST ASIA: BINTAN, INDONESIA
After a short visit to Singapore to celebrate a few birthdays, we headed across the Singapore Straits to our first destination in Indonesia. We arrived at the port and immediately found a taxi driver. He informed us it would be almost one hour to reach our destination. Along the way, he stopped to buy us fruit to eat and he ensured we were comfortable. He would eventually be our driver on our return trip to the harbour.

We couldn't have been happier with the service, room or location at Bintan Spavilla. We fully enjoyed our 4 nights. The food was amazing and the sunrises were outstanding.
We also took full advantage of the resort's poolside bar. We spent a few hours here over the four days. The drinks were cold, the WIFI was strong and the pool was a comfortable 30 degrees.
